a picture of my current workspace (also known as the unused side of my bed).
having a workspace is one of the most important things to me (and i believe it should be for everyone). i’ve never been one for working in libraries or shared spaces (besides the occasional park), i’m usually much more comfortable and productive in my own space, somewhere surrounded by my own things and thoughts instead of radio interference from everyone around me.
in the past three or so years, i’ve become a fan of working on my bed. it’s a nice feeling, having one place/item that brings my home and external lives together. it almost feels like i install memories and thoughts into my bed, at this point. as i write this, i’m sitting on my bed listening to annie hall in the background (yes, that is manhattan in the picture above - i’ve been on a woodie allen kick today).
