i went to the apc surplus store today to check it out (apc at 50-75% discounts? yes please) and ended up buying some jeans. first i tried on some cures in size 30, decided they were (somehow) too big, and sized down to a 28 petite standard (for a thinner leg). i came out of the dressing room laughing, because the jeans actually fit! when the salesman asked me what i thought of them, i just kept laughing and said “i never imagined i’d need a size 28 in anything! ever!”
seems like i’ve come a long way from wearing size 38 pants, and even a long way from when i was wriggling into some size 30 jeans less than a year ago (and those seemed small at the time)!
