after walking around for hours in the sun yesterday, i decided to split off from everyone else and keep walking before heading home. in one store i walked into, a man remarked to his friend (in english!) that he loved my shirt. i, of course, said thanks, and a conversation ensued. thanks to this, i made a great contact for an internship - he is the art director for a very prominent design house. one always has to keep one’s eyes and ears open, and never let a conversation go unexplored. who knows what everyone’s up to!
